At Stoney Ridge we try our best to provide accommodation services to meet the needs of prospective guests with disabilities.
Due to this area of Derbyshire and our village of Bradwell being hilly, Stoney Ridge is built on a hillside and such is a split level bungalow.
Guests may alight at the front door (2 inch sill) and then we have thirteen easy stairs (in two stages) for all guests to reach the accommodation level, our bedrooms, lounge and dining room are all on the same level with no steps.
Door openings are standard 72cm except the en-suite of the Drey room which 52cm.
All showers are step-in tray type, not wet rooms and do not have grab rails.
The front lawn has a kerb on the circumference at varying heights. The back garden is private but can be accessed by prior arrangement but is not wheelchair accessible as it has many levels and steps.
We would welcome any enquiries from guests with disabilities and we would be happy to discuss their exact needs and do our best to meet them.
